Who is this mythical figure?

Arne Jakobsen has been an ambassador for Amok for many years and has gradually become known as "Mr. Amok Denmark." With his full beard and tattoos, he might look like a tough guy, but looks can be deceiving - Arne is as gentle as a newborn lamb.

If you're lucky, you might spot him cruising around in the world's coolest Amok car, heading to some event in Germany, Denmark, or Sweden.

Try Our Hammocks

Arne usually represents Amok at various trade shows and events throughout the year. In 2025, you can, among other things, meet him at the two-part event Hangcon Europe and the Danish Outdoor Festival.

But if you want top-notch guidance, you can also visit Agerbæk, Denmark, where Arne will be happy to help.

Open House & Private Demos

This year, Mr. Amok Denmark is hosting two casual gatherings— these two weekends there will be an Open House with hammocks and a campfire in Agerbæk, Denmark:

March 29-30
May 17-18

Rodebækvej 5, 6753 Agerbæk

During Open House weekends, you're welcome to drop by anytime between 10:00 and 17:00 to test our gear - no need to notify Arne in advance, just show up! There’s plenty of coffee for everyone.

Friends and former customers are of course welcome too. After 17:00 you are welcome to hang out and stay overnight in a hammock, a hut (roofed shelter), tent, or van. Apart from campfire coffee, please bring your own food and drinks. (Note - dogs are not allowed at this event.)

Outside these events, you’re always welcome to visit Arne almost any day of the year to try AMOK products - just be sure to book an appointment in advance.
