A young global outdoor brand

Amok Equipment was started by Norwegian outdoor engineers. Exploring nature is in our blood - be it mountains, fjords, boreal forests or the Atlantic Ocean.

The idea to make hammocks was born on a sailing adventure in the Caribbean, but the cornerstone for the unique design, cutting-edge functionality and high quality products, is the strong Nordic outdoor tradition.

The company was founded in Trondheim (Norway) in 2013 and is known for its overnight camping hammock, Draumr™. The first hammock of its kind.

Global sales across more than 40 countries, along with multiple international awards, has quickly etablished the Amok brand within the outdoor industry, both across Europe and in the United States.

Amok Equipment products are made to be lifetime adventure companions, designed for you, and the generations to come.
