Below you will find the formal terms and conditions for shopping at Amok Equipment’s online store.


1. Introduction and Parties

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made in our online store and follow the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and relevant national consumer legislation.

A consumer purchase means that you are shopping as a private individual, not on behalf of a company, and that we, Amok Equipment, sell the goods as part of our business activity.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. The version valid at the time of your order applies to your purchase, even if changes are made later.

2. Formation of Contract

A binding agreement between you and Amok Equipment AS is formed when you submit your order in our online store.

After completing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please check that all details are correct – product, quantity, price, and delivery address.

If we discover an error in price (more than 20% deviation from normal retail price), product information, or stock availability after your order, we reserve the right to cancel all or part of the order. You will be notified, and any payment will be refunded.

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must complete the purchase.


3. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in euros (EUR). VAT is included and is calculated according to the VAT rate applicable in the EU Member State of delivery (OSS – One Stop Shop). The exact VAT amount is determined at checkout after you enter your delivery address and will be itemized on your receipt.

We charge and remit VAT under our OSS registration (SE502082564101).

For deliveries outside the EU or to VAT-exempt destinations, prices are shown and charged without VAT. Local duties, taxes, and fees (if any) are still covered by Amok.

That means the total cost of your order, including shipping and any applicable fees, is shown before you confirm your purchase.

For your convenience, we offer several payment options:
Klarna, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, MobilePay (depending on location), and PayPal.

All card payments use 3D Secure authentication and SSL encryption – meaning your payment information is safe and cannot be accessed by unauthorized parties.

When paying by card, the amount is reserved until your order has been shipped.

Klarna Pay Later and Installments

Klarna Bank AB (publ) is a licensed bank under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen).
Through Klarna, you can choose to pay immediately, later, or in installments.
A credit check may be performed when you select invoice or installment payment. Please make sure to enter a valid email address to receive your invoice.

If you return an item and your Klarna invoice is due before the return is processed, log into My Klarna or use the Klarna app to pause the payment.

Discount Codes

Discount codes apply only to full-priced items and are valid within the stated time period.
Some codes are personal – misuse may lead to deactivation.


4. Shipping and Delivery

Orders ship with DHL Express from our warehouse in Sweden.

Orders are sent the same day or the following business day after you’ve placed your order.
Delivery to EU countries normally takes 2–4 business days, and a few extra days may be required for remote areas.

We do not offer local pickup from our warehouse.
(But hey — if you happen to be in eastern Norway sometime, send us a message! We’d be happy to welcome you to our headquarters in Fredrikstad if the timing works out.)

We offer free shipping on all EU orders over €200.
For orders below this amount, the shipping cost is €9.95.

There is no separate express shipping option, since we already use DHL Express — one of the fastest and most reliable courier services available.

Once your order is picked up from our warehouse, you’ll receive an email and/or SMS notification from DHL Express. Through this, you can:

  • Track your shipment in real time

  • Change your delivery date

  • Update your delivery address

  • Choose pickup from a DHL Service Point

  • Leave the parcel with a neighbor

  • Authorize “signature release” so DHL can leave it at your doorstep

The risk for the goods passes to you when the order has been delivered.

If your delivery is delayed, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide an updated estimate or information about any stock issues.
You may withhold payment, demand delivery, request compensation, or cancel the purchase in accordance with applicable consumer laws.


5. Right of Withdrawal and 100-Day Trial Period

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive the product.

You must notify us within this period – preferably in writing (email or withdrawal form).
When exercising your right of withdrawal, Amok covers the return shipping cost.

The product must be returned within 14 days after notifying us.
You may inspect the product to determine its nature and function, but if it has been used beyond what is necessary, a deduction may be made for any loss in value.

We will refund the full purchase amount within 14 days after receiving the product or proof of return shipment.

In addition to the legal 14-day withdrawal period, we offer our own 100-day trial period, allowing you to test your product outdoors.

6. Warranty and Complaints

All our products come with a 5-year warranty, in addition to your statutory rights under the EU Consumer Sales Directive (2019/771).

If you discover a defect, you must notify us within a reasonable time after you noticed or should have noticed it. A complaint made within 2 months is always considered timely.
Complaints can be made up to 3 years after receipt, or up to 5 years if the product is expected to last longer.

If a defect is confirmed, you are entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or refund – depending on what is reasonable.
Complaints should always be submitted in writing.


7. Returns and Return Address

To return an item, please email support@amokequipment.com with your order number and request for return.
We will then send you a return form to include in your package.

Please pack the product securely and mark the parcel clearly with your order number.
Refunds are usually processed within 7 business days after we have received and approved the return.


8. Limitation of Liability

The information on our website is for general information purposes. While we do our best to ensure accuracy, errors may occur.

All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranties beyond those required by law or covered by our product warranty.

Amok Equipment AS and its partners are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of income, data, goodwill, or savings – unless required by mandatory law.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.


9. Privacy, Cookies, and Marketing

We take your privacy seriously.
Information about how we collect, use, and protect personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
All processing complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).


10. Dispute Resolution

Any complaints should first be directed to our support team.
If we cannot resolve the issue together, you may contact your local consumer protection authority or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform:
https://ec.europa.eu/odr.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, with disputes to be resolved in Norwegian courts.
However, this does not affect your right as an EU consumer to seek redress through your national consumer protection body.


11. Force Majeure

If Amok Equipment AS is prevented from fulfilling its obligations due to circumstances beyond our control – such as labor disputes, fire, war, pandemics, natural disasters, energy shortages, or supplier delays – we are exempt from liability beyond a refund of any payment received.


12. Copyright

All content on amokequipment.eu is owned by Amok Equipment AS and protected by copyright, marketing, and trademark laws.
This means that brand names, product descriptions, photos, graphics, designs, and layouts may not be copied, used, or downloaded without written permission.


13. Changes to Terms

You can always read the current version of these terms on our website.
Amok Equipment AS reserves the right to update or modify the terms at any time by publishing a new version on our website.

Significant changes will be communicated in accordance with applicable law.
By continuing to use our services after changes are published, you agree to the updated terms.
